Blacklisted Companies

Gorilla Killers maintains a list of companies and platforms that we do not work with due to incompatibility with our technical, creative, or safety standards.
This list is provided for transparency only.

Blacklisting a company does not imply wrongdoing. It simply means the service does not meet our requirements or is not suitable for our project.

1. Roblox Corporation

Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
Roblox’s recent platform updates and policy changes do not align with Gorilla Killers’ safety expectations or operational standards. These changes have reduced the effectiveness of certain community protection features, making the platform incompatible with our requirements for user safety, moderation, and development freedom.
Gorilla Killers is not partnered with, endorsed by, or affiliated with Roblox in any capacity.

2. Any “Free Domain” Providers (e.g., Freenom)

Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
Free domain providers are known for instability, shutdowns, and unreliable DNS performance. These services do not meet our standards for security, professionalism, or long‑term stability.
Gorilla Killers exclusively uses verified, reputable registrars such as IONOS

3. Unverified Asset Websites

(e.g., sketchy “free model” sites, unlicensed asset dumps)
Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
These sites often distribute stolen, unlicensed, or unsafe assets. They pose security risks and violate professional development standards. Gorilla Killers only uses legitimate asset sources.

4. Untrusted Hosting Providers

(e.g., low‑quality or unsafe hosting companies)
Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
These services do not meet our requirements for uptime, SSL security, or reliability. Gorilla Killers uses Google Sites and IONOS for trusted, stable hosting and domain management.

Trinware

Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
Trinware’s staffing and operational practices do not meet Gorilla Killers’ standards for professionalism, reliability, or trust. Based on our evaluation, their internal processes and personnel management do not align with the level of integrity and consistency we require from third‑party providers.
For these reasons, Gorilla Killers does not use, support, or partner with Trinware.

Steam (Valve Corporation)

Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
Steam’s platform policies and distribution requirements do not align with Gorilla Killers’ operational needs or long‑term development plans. The platform’s structure, review systems, and publishing standards are not compatible with the direction of our project.
For these reasons, Gorilla Killers does not use, support, or distribute content through Steam.

5. Any Platform That Removes Safety Features

(General category — not naming specific companies)
Status: Blacklisted

Reason:
Platforms that remove or weaken user safety tools, moderation features, or reporting systems do not meet Gorilla Killers’ standards for community protection.
We do not use or support platforms that compromise user safety.

Why Companies Get Blacklisted

A company or service may be blacklisted if it:

• Fails to meet our safety standards

• Removes or weakens community protection features

• Provides unreliable or unstable service

• Distributes unlicensed or unsafe assets

• Conflicts with our technical requirements

• Does not align with Gorilla Killers’ operational values

Blacklisting is not permanent and may be reviewed if conditions change.

Review Policy

Blacklisted companies are reviewed annually or when major platform changes occur.
